Dani is the CEO of Reka. He was a senior staff research scientist at DeepMind (2016–2022) and a research scientist at Baidu Silicon Valley AI Lab (2015). He received his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been involved in several major breakthroughs in AI including AlphaStar (Nature) and DeepSpeech (MIT Tech Review Top 10 Breakthrough Technologies in 2015). Dani is also an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Southern California.
