Reka and Alibaba Cloud Announce Partnership to Expand Access to Advanced Multimodal AI
New York / San Francisco, CA. August 23, 2024 – Today, Reka and Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group announced their partnership through a signed MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) to jointly advance AI technology and applications by increasing access to much sought after multimodal and multilingual AI models from Reka and related capabilities. When combined with Alibaba Cloud’s robust global cloud infrastructure and advanced technology solutions, Reka will help address the meaningful unmet demand stemming from use cases that require multimodal capabilities.
As part of this partnership, Reka will make its suite of frontier multimodal models - including Reka Core, Reka Flash and Reka Edge models available to Alibaba Cloud customers through a variety of ways, including through Alibaba Cloud's Model Studio, the generative AI platform of the cloud pioneer.
Reka is excited to enter into this strategic partnership with Alibaba Cloud. Multimodal capabilities are a must-have and our vision is to provide access to AI models that can see, hear, and speak as a foundation for powerful AI agents.
